Michael Carmona Impact Officer Michael Carmona is an impact officer – entrepreneurship for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where he manages a diverse grant portfolio which has a shared goal of fostering financial stability, upward mobility, and economic prosperity for under-resourced communities in the Kansas City region. Prior to joining the Kauffman Foundation, Carmona was a community relations and impact manager with the University of Missouri – Kansas City (UMKC) Innovation Center. Carmona earned his Bachelor of Science in business administration and Master of Business Administration with a concentration in international business from Rockhurst University. He serves on the board of the Holy Rosary Credit Union and The Giving Grove, and as president of La Union Cultural Mexicana.
