Verenice Chavoya-Perez is a senior evaluation and learning officer in Research, Learning, and Evaluation for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where she operationalizes evaluation and learning-related initiatives.

Prior to joining the Kauffman Foundation, Chavoya-Perez was a senior associate and staff development manager with Social Policy Research Associates where her work centered on evaluations of policy advocacy efforts, movement- and field-building, and racial equity initiatives. Chavoya-Perez has served on the board of Tiny, Mighty Strong, which seeks to empower children and youth via summer camp programs, community events, food distribution campaigns, and enrichment opportunities. She has also provided English literacy classes to immigrant day laborers so they are able to better advocate for themselves and their families.

Chavoya-Perez earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and Master of Public Policy from the University of Southern California.
