Kansas City

We have long known that circumstances outside of the classroom almost always impact academic performance. But what happens when those circumstances are extraordinarily complex and challenging?

The Kauffman Foundation invited community members to “hack” into the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Building Playbook and give feedback during the 10th anniversary of #GEWKC.

The Lean Lab culminates its fourth Incubator Fellowship program by awarding $50,000 to build and expand two education innovation firms in Kansas City.

Mr. Kauffman believed the investment he made in people was key to his success. And, he was deeply devoted to Kansas City. That’s why it was natural for the Kauffman Foundation to join so many others in the regional effort to create the Amazon HQ2 proposal.

The Foundation makes significant investments to help our key city assets increase long-term financial stability, most recently through a grant to the Truman Library Institute.
